I also have this digitizing probe that came with the Shopbot which we sold some time ago so have no way of testing it. We never used it but, because the Shopbot was bought second hand I have no way of knowing if it works. It has no scratches or marks of any kind including none on the mounting shaft and the probe moves and returns smoothly. However, I see the folded black lead wire has a kink in it and I don’t have the other part of the connector as shown on the ShopbotTools site. I’d suggest payment via some service like Paypal that offers recourse in the event that it turns out to be defective. My apologies in advance for the longwinded explanation. $US175.
Added Info on the probe: I’m not sure how to edit the initial post so adding some additional info. and close-up images. 1. There is only one probe tip. 2. The missing half or both sides of the 4-pin Wago connector appear to be available at low cost online. The closeup shots may help verify its condition and which version (if there are different ones) it is. I had four different Shopbots over time (2 standard and two alpha) but don’t know which it came with and no longer have one since retiring so no need for this.
