    Default Fume/vent coverage for Shopbot

Was recently doing some cuts on a resin board and the fumes from the board while it was being cut were getting to me. Was wearing a respirator but our shop is in an enclosed space. Board was fully cured. Was wondering if anyone has had this issue or if anyone has a fume extractor system that they could share some photos on.

Do you have a HEPA filter on your dust collection system? That should be the number one thing. A HEPA filter won't take all the toxins out of the air but if it's airborne from heat, it's likely particulate and large enough to be caught in the filter. VOCs won't be filtered out but smoke, and other fumes of that nature should be removed.

    Default attic fan

Not sure where you are located, but I have a 30" attic fan above my table the vents into the attic.

I do not use it all the time, but it certainly moves all the very fine particles and dust out of the work area. I use this along with the vacuum dust collector running.

Not great for mid-winter but most of the time the attic fan can be used.
The decimal point seems to be the most important on the z axis... x & y not so much....
