Hi all.

Today, I replaced my spoilboard, surfaced both sides, and then cut the MDF to size. All good.

Ran CN73. Ran CN72 for all bits......no problem. However, when changing tool bits during CN72, I noticed a little different sound from the compressed air. Like a little whistling sound during the changing of the bit.

Anyway, go to run the next program, and the spindle is just HOWLING with noise. It sounds like the kind of noise that is made when the router bit winds up a protective film on a piece of acrylic.....except there's nothing on the bit. So I run the machine down and spin the spindle by hand and can see a visible wobble in the spindle. I presume the bearings need to be replaced. What would cause that to happen so immediately?

Also, any suggestions on who to send it to for repair would be appreciated.

Andy
