Default HSD 2.2 Spindle Cooling Fan Replacement

Good Morning, Bit of bad luck today. Seems we have lost our cooling fan for our HSD 2.2 spindle. All diagnostics point to cooling fan motor. Seems to be a very uncommon problem. Not many good quick resources on how to proceed with replacement. Anybody have good resources or experiences replacing these cooling fans for the HSD 2.2 Spindle.
Thanks for all help in advance.

Take the bolts out and flip it over. The part number of the fan is on it. I'm sure shopbot sells them as well, but I just order the same part number and brand fan. It requires a few wire splices.

Thanks Kenneth, Thats is how we will proceed. So is this fan issue more common than we realize? Is there a thermal switch that keeps the spindle from overheating if fan craps out during the middle of the day? We don't make certain every morning upon starting that the fans come on. I guess we can put that on the checklist during warm up routine. Thanks Again

There is a small thermal switch in the spindle. The two small wires in the cable. It is normally closed and opens when it overheats. I don't remember if Shopbot wired them in to a fault signal or not. If you open your VFD cover (powered off) see if you can locate them. If shopbot didn't use them, you could make a circuit that turned on some kind of buzzer or light if it got hot.
