    Default Beveled flat top text

Another question for the pros...what's the trick to getting flat top text with beveled sides? Shape editor, iso-form, doesn't do it(at least not for me).Any tips? Yeah, I know, experiment....I have been trying all different ways to make sawdust out of my projects, just looking for some advice to make life a little easier. Thanks

depending on the depth of the bevel if it is less then your v bit just run a profile pass on the line with it to the depth you want. if it is deeper then your bit can cut in a single pass offset it to the outside and vcarve it. that may take some playing around to get the depth right.

Lou, to get flat tops with bevel sides will depend on the font you select. Pick a wider font to work with or use the font editor and increase the width to get to what you want.
