Default Has Anyone Built Their Own Z to Replace the Ball Screw?

I have an older PR and it has the ball screw Z. I am wondering if anyone has done their own mods to get it to work more reliably?

    Thanks,

    Richard...
ShopBot has just built a new extrusion Z assembly that bolts to the PRT... not sure if it works on the PR.

Yes but it is about $1700 Canadian, and I have 2 of them. Add in the new controller box $1500 shipping, and taxes I am close to $6000.

Richard I built my machine from the bottom up ,It is model after a PRS , the Z I used a T bar from a PRT to mount the router onto, this is mounted on a flat aluminum plate, the Z motor is mounted from the back of the plate , I'm running shopbot software & motors
