Default When a plan comes together

A while back (August) I was cutting some interesting (to me) pieces for an entertainment center. This post: http://www.talkshopbot.com/forum/mes...312/33354.html

Our installation was some time back, the stone and glass installers have done their jobs, the Lady of the house has put out the Christmas deco's and I was asked to stop by for a look see at the finished product and have a little Christmas cheer.

Casework and tops from 4/4 and 8/4 Cherry. Splitface marble veneer and 1/2" glass shelving for the wall. Finish is a blend of 3 MLC Microton toners with a few
    coats of post cat lacquer.

    Gary,

It is hard to believe from the original post that this is the final outcome! Thanks for revisiting this project and sharing the results. Looks great!!

Cherry and Chihuly! Nice end result.

(For those who may not know Chihuly is a glass artisan and the sculpture looks like his kind of stuff. http://www.chihuly.com )

Nice job Gary: Also nice to have the opportunity to take pics after it's nicely decorated.

Joe: I think the sculpture is from a Murano artisan. After the great "Chihuly over Venice" exhibit there was more Pilchuck influenced work coming out of there.
