    Default V carved plaque

A cabinet maker in my complex, went out of business and I took a few hundred doors that he was throwing out. After you remove the frame, the floating panels make for nice sign blanks. The wood is maple but I wasn't happy with a two-tone stain finish so it evolved into black and gold.

The angle of the lighting is what makes the letters look incomplete. In person it looks much nicer.

you'd be surprised at how some people can see value and repurpose in things that others throw away. We used to be called "Garbagepickers" now its in vogue to be a "recycler".

I think i like the term "Garbagepicker" better!

when you make other stuff from that let us know, good job..
