Some USB hubs are flaky and some work at 1st then die shortly after. First, make sure your USB cable is 12' or under. Then pull out the USB hub. Plug SB USB into computer. Try to connect to SB3 that way. If successful, close SB3 and run the SpeedTest.exe in the ProgramFiles\ShopBot\ShopBot3\Diagnostic folder. If you are greater than 70% go cut. If less, go buy another self-powered USB hub. Any will do...RadioShack, Walmart, Staples, etc. Plug it in and SpeedTest.exe again.
