    Default Chamfer cuts

Hello I am new to using a Shopbot. We have a project that requires us to cutout 6 inch squares out of aluminum composite (Dibond type material). Our cuts need to be made at a 45 degree angle. I know this might sound like a stupid question but should we use a chamfer end mill to make the bevel as well as the cut? McMaster-Carr part number 3073A68 or similar? Any other recommendations?

    Thank you in advance!

a 90 degree v bit will do it ok. Plus you can use the bit for other things.

Are you cutting partway through to fold the joints?

they make folding bits... I think they are 91°
