You don't need a special bit for black PVC because it's a soft plastic. A table saw would be your best bet but since you have extra material, why not run a test on the material edge. I'm always amazed how generous this material is with different bits. I've found a test on speed rate is required. Not all black PVC cuts the same so it's necessary to run a test or two.

I trust this isn't to be used outside! It's famous for warping and turning ugly dark gray. None of the manufacturers warranty it for exterior use.

right pvc is easy. I choose a bit for diameter and keeping the parts in place. so for larger parts a upcut is fine if not a straight works well. but with a 1/4" 1/2" pass is fine.

I cut 1/2 inch PVC all the time with a 1/4" bit in one pass. It really does cut great.

I am a model maker and use a lot of black/white 1/8th and 1/4 inch pvc. The same rules apply with pvc as when cutting wood, make CHIPS not dust. If you feed to slow it will MELT in the cut, a little faster and it cuts like butter. It holds great detail if the bits are SHARP and CLEAN. Hold down is important as well because it will flex while cutting, and I also use a lot of tabs which can be cut with a utility knife. A good vacuum table works the best. The pix shows some detail done using a 1/16th tapered ballnose, door on left is 1 1/2 inch by 2 inch, door on right is 3/4 inch by 2 inch. Fun stuff, glues with regular old pvc pipe glue. Russ
