Default Import Scale Conversions - parts "grow"

    Folks -

Okay, this is related to my post over in PW... When I imported a vector drafted in AI, somehow it converted the inches to MM, and then rescaled the object so that it was HUGE - everything was multiplied by 25.4... I rescaled, so it really wasn't that big a deal, but it is an extra step.

Now, I nested the objects on a 4x4 panel and was able to fit 17 2&7/16x35" fence pickets on the sheet. Everything fits - In PW, that is...

When I open the file in SB and preview the cutting, the group of pickets is larger than the machine table! They aren't "huge" by a factor of 25.4, but they appear to be about 4 or 5" wide and about 5' tall... This is a new wrinkle...

Ideas? Where to I start to look for the problem?

    John,

If you'll email me the dxf file that you brought into Part Wizard and the ShopBot file that you got out of it I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.
