Most, if not all, of my latest 'Missing com...' prompt/crash has been while the tool is idling with nothing running like during the night or...
Sound familiar... Since sometime, I moved the control PC for troubleshoot this issue, whenever I get this 'Missing com...' prompt, I generaly can resume after unplugging the USB cable of the control...
It's really random at my end. It really seem to be relate to the USB management...?
An advanced tips and tricks with Aspire would be cool. There's always something new to learn... or to teach...

I'm surprised you could mill 2000 series aluminum with 2 flutes spiral up (wood?) bit. I haven't had any luck milling anything else than 6000 and 7000 series aluminum on my Bot no matter what tool...
You need to remove the four ones arranged in two sets of two at the center of the front and rear edge to remove the fan and fan housing assembly altogether.
