missing com.return
I everyone and Happy New Year, I was running some cuts on the Bot today and started to get Missing com.return it seems you start a cut and when it finishes a move it gives an error message. I have found a link to an old tread and I tried the grounding checking if it was secure, zero plate, ground the computer. but it is still not reliable.
I noticed that the two green LED in the control box that the one closest to the back of the box or second one in was dim so I wiggled the connector block and it got bright, however if I jiggle the wires on the connector block the LED blinks, I unplugged the block and connected it 90 degrees up and it made a much tighter connection so I assume I might have a loose connection, what does this LED indicate? and am I on the right track, This is the first time I am encountering this error.
Can someone tell me where on the computer should I attach a ground wire can I do it to the case it is metal or do I need to go inside and attach to the chassie? Any help would be appreciated!

In life Something always goes wrong when you need it to work, this has been my luck!
the Bot for most cases has been very reliable.

well I went back out to the shop today started up the Bot and it ran for 2 hours without a glitch, I just do not understand, did not change anything from yesterday and all is fine, if you have a ground issue I cannot see how it works one day and not the next?

i understand the issues of static, however when you look at the construction of a shop bot it is steel on steel or metal on metal if I were to put a ohm meter between the x,y,z axis you get continunity the weight of the y car is heavy enough to make contact to the x frame and as long as the x frame is grounded it should be ok. I have been running this machine since feb 2008 and yesterday I get a problem and today it is ok. the only thing I did yesterday I removed the dust collector system and ran the bot without it, however did the same today. I am machining a 6*6 beam and had no room for the dust system.

I am going to put some addition ground wires just to be sure and I will keep my fingers crossed.
